In 2017 Du Roi (SA’s largest and most progressive citrus nursery) and Halls (a subtropical fresh produce business with a global footprint) combined their expertise to address the shortfall of quality avocado clonal trees resulting from the current growth trajectory of the industry. We are registered with the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF), accredited by the South African Citrus Improvement Scheme (SACIP) and Avocado Nurserymen’s Association (ANA), and a member of the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA).
